A free, family-friendly synchronized light show from a residential home in Amity Township — Douglassville, Pennsylvania.
The display
Loyalsock Lights runs on approximately 23,000 individually controllable lights — RGB pixels and props programmed so color and motion allow you to feel the song. Large seasons (Halloween and Christmas) are full productions; smaller holiday pop-ups (Valentine’s, Mardi Gras, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Veterans Day, and similar) use a smaller amount of lights.
Sequences are built in xLights and driven from show controllers (FPP ecosystem). When the show is live, visitors can request songs through our self-hosted Remote Falcon page.

Douglassville is a small community in Amity Township along the U.S. 422 corridor. Nearby areas include Amity Gardens and other Berks County neighborhoods west of the Philadelphia metro fringe — a short drive for many families in Berks, Montgomery, and Chester counties.
Amity Township roots
Amity Township is one of the oldest townships in Berks County. Its name comes from the spirit of amity — friendship — associated with early relations between Swedish settlers and local Native American communities.
In the early 1700s, Swedish Lutheran pastor Andreas Rudman obtained a grant from William Penn setting aside roughly 10,000 acres up the Schuylkill River near Manatawny Creek for members of his congregation. That “Swedes’ tract” still roughly outlines Amity Township today. Douglassville grew later as a local village along the river and transportation routes (today’s Route 422 is the main corridor).
